CyberPatriot III Competition open to High School Teams
CyberPatriot is the premier national high school cyber defense competition created to inspire high school students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation’s future. The competition was conceived by the Air Force Association, and national outreach was made possible by Northrop Grumman, the program’s presenting sponsor. SAIC and the CIAS at UT-San Antonio are founding partners of the program.
Now in its third phase, CyberPatriot III is open to all high schools or approved home school programs around the country. The Alamo Chapter of the Air Force Association is a strong supporter of this program. If you know of a high school teen who would be interested in this, please contact mike@alamoafa.org. See more details at the AFA website.

AOG Directory
AOG Board of Directors has
decided your Association of Graduates will offer a more useful, secure and
cost-effective means of disseminating the annual USAFA Register of
Graduates. AOG members are now be able to go to the AOG website,
www.usafa.org, to access the Register in one of two ways. Members can click
on the Directory link to get the most current, up-to-date information on
graduates and members stored in the AOG database, or, for those who prefer
the traditional printed Register, can download a PDF version similar to the
formerly printed format. The PDF format is fully searchable and provides
full graduate history versus the abbreviated histories in previous versions.
Membership to the AOG is not a requirement for updating your profile.
For your privacy, a username and password will be required for member access
which is transmitted over an encrypted connection similar to those used to
transmit credit card information when making online purchases.
In addition to increasing accuracy and security of personal information,
this is also a fiscally responsible move, saving the AOG printing and
mailing costs. |
